Moms in Prayer Area Coordinator, Terri Camouche, grew up in South Philadelphia and today she sits down to talk to Lee about her experience growing up, finding Jesus, and how God has worked in her and through her to heal racial divisions. Terri’s walk to school every day took her through racially divided streets and physical persecution because of the color of her skin. In Part One of this two-part episode, Terri and Lee discuss Terri’s childhood and path to Jesus. In Part Two they talk about how Moms in Prayer moms can and must pray for children and schools in this time.
About our Guest:
Philadelphia native and 1st generation Christian, Terri Carmouche has been intimately involved with Mom's In Prayer International since 2005, while also serving in many other ministries and church traditions in various capacities. As first-generation Christian with a passion for the integration of Theology and Psychology, Terri deeply believes no matter the subject or vocation, that all truth originates from God, thus compelling her forward in pursuing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Trauma.
Terri is a wife, mother of three, and a speaker, who has been continually engaged in teaching and discipling women of all ages. Locally, she now serves as an Area Coordinator in the Southern California region of Moms in Prayer. In her free time, she loves to cook and serve family and friends; manage home decor projects, and in recent years, has developed a newfound love for gardening.

Today, Moms in Prayer President, Sally Burke, and Lee Nienhuis switch roles to talk about the true goal of motherhood, and how we can raise children who live counterculturally. This conversation is laced with the nuts and bolts of revival and how children have played a historical role in changing culture supported by their prayerful parents.
About our Guest:
Lee Nienhuis is an author and passionate Bible teacher. She is a Communications Specialist for Moms in Prayer International and the Host of the Moms in Prayer Podcast.
Lee’s writing and speaking have been featured on Focus on the Family broadcast and magazine; True Woman; Proverbs 31, Hearts at Home, Iron Sharpens Iron conferences; GEMS Girls Clubs; and American Heritage Girls. Lee shares a dynamic vision for the next generation of Christ followers. Lee’s new book, Countercultural Parenting, released in June 2020. Her first book Brave Moms, Brave Kids released in 2018 also with Harvest House.
Lee and her husband, Mike, have four great kids and live at Grace Adventures, a Christian Camp and Conference Center in West Michigan where her husband serves as the Director of Facilities and Maintenance for three campuses. Mike and Lee have four great kids who make her need Jesus like she needs oxygen.

Today, Lee sits down with author, speaker, and mom, Jennifer Dukes Lee and her daughter, Lydia, to talk about how they are overcoming the grief and disappointments that have come as a result of the Covid crisis. Today’s episode is filled with laughter and hope for students, graduates, and the moms who love them.

National Day of Prayer is May 7, 2020. Today, Lee sits down with Kathy Branzell, the President of National Day of Prayer. Kathy has been a Moms in Prayer mom for decades and today she shares her journey into a ministry that focuses on prayer and the importance of National Day of Prayer for America.
About our Guest:
Kathy Branzell serves as the President of the National Day of Prayer (NDP) Task Force. She has served as a longtime member of the Board of Directors, having led and served alongside Vonette Bright, Shirley Dobson, Anne Graham-Lotz, and Dr. Ronnie Floyd. Along with her work on behalf of the National Day of Prayer Task Force, she is the founder and president of Fellowship and Christian Encouragement (FACE) for Educatorswhere she authored seventeen years of weekly scripture reading, prayer prompts and devotionals for educators to use to use in their weekly prayer meetings throughout the school year.She is the author/co-author of five books including, An Invitation to Prayer; Developing a Lifestyle of Intimacy with God; 40 Days of Love: A Prayer-Care-Share Devotional; Prayer Warrior: the Battle Plan to Victory;An Apple a Day: 365 Day devotional for Teachers; and A Prayer Warrior's Guide to Spiritual Battle. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Education and Human Development from the University of Georgia, and her master’s degree in Biblical Studies from Liberty Theological Seminary. She has served as a Rapid Response Chaplin for the Billy Graham Evangelical Association,and the National Coordinator of LOVE2020 and National Facilitator for the Mission America Coalition (Now The Table Coalition).
Having raised two children with her husband Russ, Kathy lives in Atlanta, Georgia. She plans for the prayer ministry to continue as a remote team, as several NDP staff are based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Her fifth book, a devotional entitled An Invitation to Prayer (BroadStreet), released this year.
